Lagos PDP sacks Chairman, appoints replacement…ouch!!!

The Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos chapter, has sacked its party's chairman, Mr Tunji Shelle and appointed an acting chairman, Mr Owolabi Olounje (pictured above). The decision by the state party's EXCO was reached after a disciplinary committee was set up to investigate some allegations leveled against Mr Shelle.

Facebook Crime: Police nab NYSC member others

A serving member of the National Youth Service Corps has been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command for robbing university students. Four others were also arrested for luring people with the use of Facebook and kidnapping them. While speaking to Southern City News , the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ali Okechukwu said the arrests were only made possible through the help of the public.
