Photographer Features Mothers in the Wild to End the Shame of Breastfeeding...pls close you eyes!

As a breastfeeding mom, I’ve experienced the physical and emotional struggles of nursing my child. Breastfeeding isn’t exactly an easy journey and moms who choose to nurse their youngsters constantly face risks of being judged for giving their child the best milk in the world. It’s unbelievable how a man managed to shame a woman who was breastfeeding her child inside a restaurant.
Like other breastfeeding moms, photographer Erin White was having difficulty nursing her child. But when an opportunity to photograph breastfeeding mothers from her local community in Kaiserslautern, Germany came, White’s confidence was boosted.
Titled “Women in the Wildâ€, the photo series included 51 mothers from different locations in the world who confidently shared their inspiring stories about normalizing breastfeeding and promoting body positivity.
“The first year or two can be so hard as a family, the last thing [a mom] should be stressed about is her body image. I hope people will get a sense of the natural beauty of a new mother and stop tearing each other down. I hope it helps people see breastfeeding as a natural act of feeding a baby, rather than a sexual act to be hidden,†White told Huffington Post.

Leah: "This morning I felt out of my comfort zone, scared and just unbelievably out of control. I have body issues, so for me the thought of getting undressed to nurse my son in front of a camera was way out of my league. As my hands gripped the steering wheel this morning I thought back to the excitement I felt when this was announced. I promised myself at 25 I would step out of my comfort zone. I would gain self confidence this year.â
